Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that includes a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.
The mop roller comes with several other clever features, including a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without you having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's one of the combo robot vacuums with mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than other models.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will begin vacuuming and mopping effortlessly.
It's important to note that mapping takes quite a while and may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. Additionally the detection of objects can be hit or miss It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip itself over to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective, navigating close to walls without crashing and avoiding stairs. However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than others.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in an ongoing basis. Eufy's application lets you control all its functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums that are available. It delivers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're close to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are cleaned.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office tidy. automatic hoover has the ability to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your area and knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to save time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a variety of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, a separate water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a great job of navigating tight spots. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not connected to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
